When I first started this blog about three months ago, one of my goals is to attain a page rank. It had almost become an obsession and several times each day I go to check it, only to get disappointed everytime I see my PR of 0 (zero).
Well, last night I was checking this blog and saw one of my blogger friends' comment about checking my PR for the new Google update. Sure enough, my page rank went from 0 to a PR of 2! Wow! I am very pleased with the results of my hard work. Indeed, when you put your mind and heart into something you want to achieve, you can achieve it. I did not expect it to be a 2 right away, I thought a 1 is just okay..for a start. But hey, of course a 2 is so much better than a 1! I will take it any time! :)
How about you? How is your blog's page rank? Did you check it lately?

How To Improve Page Rank For Your Blog
Over at Bloggerbuster, there is a very helpful article on how you can improve your page rank.
Amanda, who owns this blog, is one of my top favorite authorities when it comes to finding how-to's on the many different technicalities on blogging.
Acoording to Amanda, as far as improving your blog's pagerank, you are doing it already everytime you update your blog and writing new, quality content on it that people will enjoy reading. I know I am a guilty of this, as I've been slacking off a bit on offering new, helpful information to my readers on this blog.
Here are my own thoughts on improving one's blog page rank:
1. Write entries on your blog everytime you have a good idea in mind what to write. Blogging is not about writing the perfect article. You have to enjoy what you write and be able to offer helpful information so your readers of course, will have a reason to come back and read your blog again and again.
2. Do not be too concern about page rank, it will come in time. It may take months or even years to achieve a good amount of traffic and thereby achieve a page rank but be patient. It is well worth the wait. Meanwhile, keep on with blogging related to your theme, and offer advice and helpful tips when you can.
3. Go find relevant social networking sites to join and comment on other blogs. I know I have to work on joining more of these types of site, but my favorites are MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog. They are great sites and seems to help with more people reading my blog.
Enjoy blogging!
